In a nutshell

This role supports Toyota’s marketing activities, including integrated campaigns, vehicle launches, digital content and European events. Responsibilities include coordinating stakeholders and agencies, preparing campaign materials, monitoring budgets and performance, maintaining marketing databases, and reporting results. The ideal candidate is a Marketing, Business or Communications student with strong organisational, communication and teamwork skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. Fluency in English and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint are required.

Your team and your responsibilities

Team/division description   

 

The Marketing Intern supports the marketing team in planning, executing, and analyzing marketing activities that promote vehicle brands, products, services, and customer engagement initiatives. The intern gains hands-on experience in digital marketing, campaign management, market research, events, and automotive customer communications.

 

Your project

 

Marketing Campaign Support

 

  • Support the end-to-end planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for vehicle launches model year updates, special editions, and brand-building initiatives.
  • Assist in developing campaign briefs by gathering market insights, target audience information, competitive intelligence, and product-related content.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Digital, Launch team, Public Relations, and external agencies to ensure campaign alignment and timely execution.
  • Contribute to the development of campaign messaging and customer value propositions that effectively communicate vehicle features, technologies, and brand differentiators.
  • Help manage the campaign timeline, ensuring deliverables are completed according to project milestones and launch schedules.
  • Review marketing materials for consistency with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and product specifications.
  • Support the management of campaign budgets by tracking expenditures, processing purchase orders, and maintaining records of marketing investments.
  • Assist in post-campaign evaluations, collecting feedback from customers, dealerships, sales teams, and agencies to identify lessons learned and best practices.

 

Digital Marketing

  • Support to the digital team to create the digital content and website.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare basic analytics reports.

 

Events and Product Launches

  • Assist in organizing pan European vehicle launches activities.
  • Support event performance tracking and post-event reporting.

 

Reporting and Administration

  • Maintain marketing databases tool and upload of marketing materials.
  • Support budget tracking and administrative tasks as assigned.

 

Your Profile

  • Student (Bachelor/Master) in Marketing, Business or Communication
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, structured and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English (additional European languages are an asset)
  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
