Your team and your responsibilities

Team / division description

You act as an internal consultant, coaching projects across the entire value chain—from Manufacturing Companies and National Sales & Marketing Companies (“local distributors”) to the final Customer. You support the ambition for all TME members to become self-sufficient in applying Toyota Production System (TPS)  in their daily office work, contributing to the company’s transition into a mobility provider.

Your project

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding how TPS works in an office environment and applying it to real business projects
  • Collaborating with TPS experts to solve complex, often cross-divisional challenges
  • Supporting the promotion of the TPS program across the company (e.g. exhibitions, events)
  • Assisting in the creation of TPS learning materials and training content

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree,
  • You have a strong interest in Lean Management, Agile ways of working, and the Toyota Production System (TPS)
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • You are comfortable working with data analysis tools (Excel and Powerpoint required)
  • You can structure information clearly and communicate effectively through presentations and reports
  • You enjoy working in a multicultural, cross-functional environment and are a strong team player
  • You are eager to learn and committed to continuous improvement (Kaizen mindset)

Confidentiality

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
