Your team and your responsibilities

Team/division description

           

You will be part of the Electrical Powertrain Department. This position offers you insights into the how the Purchasing function works to secure the supplier relationship during sourcing, production preparation and mass production. It will also provide you with a better understanding of how a leading multinational operates and interacts with various internal and external parties.

 

Your project

 

During this internship there will be 3 projects to collaborate on:

 

  1. Purchasing Commercial Database Development
  • Purchasing commercial data base regular maintenance
  • Data update automation
  • Continuous improvement of visualisation and functionality
  1. “Software SPTT” support
  • Track software development status, risks and readiness across projects
  • Updating the Software SPTT dashboard and preparing review meetings with Design, Purchasing and suppliers
  • Contribute to software risk assessment and ensure clear communication of software expectations to stakeholders.
  1. Energy Reduction Activity support
  • KPI monitoring
  • Activity plan follow-up
  • Regular reporting

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • Student at University
  • Business Analyst, interested in Technology
  • Highly developed analytical skills, accuracy and reliability
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools and familiarity with systems

 

Duration

  •  6 months

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
