In a nutshell

Join Toyota Motor Europe’s Advanced Powertrain R&D team in Brussels as a master’s engineering intern working on E-Motor and E-Axle technologies. Your team and your responsibilities

Team/division description

           

As part of TME R&D, the Advanced Powertrain team covers EV battery, E-motor, E-axle, charging, fuel cell technology research in support of local and global development for Toyota mobility powertrains.

 

Your project

 

E-Motor and E-Axle market and technology research:

  •  Study state-of-art and future technology,
  •  Analyse research papers,
  •  Update roadmaps and technology landscapes.

 

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language),
  • You have interest in the automotive sector,
  • You are curious to learn about electrification technology,
  • You are a master student in an engineering discipline.

Starting date

  •  May 2026

Duration

  •  6 months

Confidentiality

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
