Team/division description

Hydrogen Factory Europe (H2FE) was established within TME as a local business operation to co-ordinate the commercialisation of hydrogen technology and systems – ranging from development and production to sales and aftersales.

H2FE is supporting a widening group of commercial partnerships, in line with the company’s strategy to achieve carbon neutrality in Europe by 2040.

The Software team within Hydrogen Factory Europe is responsible for leading development of commercial software products, defining system requirements for future generations of Toyota Fuel Cells, and developing internal software tools to support other Fuel Cell development teams.

Your project

You will join the development of the Software team’s in-house developed commercial product: the Customer Interface (CIF) software. The CIF is a control software which controls systems of up to 12 Fuel Cell Modules (FCM). • Improve a physical plant model to support Model In the Loop (MIL) software validation
  • Improve and automate a Model In the Loop (MIL) software validation process
  • Develop a process to manage and track parameter calibration between different software variants
  • Propose software updates and new logic by reviewing user scenarios
  • Support validation on test bench of new software versions

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You have experience in writing software or developing scripts
  • You have a strong interest to experience automotive software development
  • You are motivated to learn more about automotive development, Fuel Cells and Hydrogen technology
  • Experience in MATLAB/Simulink is a plus
