Your team and your responsibilities

The Manufacturing Supply Chain team is part of the Information Technology & Digital function.  The main mission of the team is to be a strategic partner for our business counterparts in Toyota Motor Europe and our 7 European Manufacturing Plants by providing the best technology and solutions, achieving best-in-class support and co-designing the future business solution landscape.

 

Our team operates from multiple locations across Europe and is responsible for overseeing all systems that manage the Parts Supply Chain for our Manufacturing Plants in Europe. Our scope includes Forecasting, Procurement, Inventory Management, Internal and External Logistics and Supplier Communications. We consistently apply Toyota’s core philosophies in everything we do.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Design & deliver access to corporate system data by provisioning Data Products.
  • Empower our business partners to adopt and leverage modern data solutions for smarter decision-making & analytics.
  • Apply your expertise in the latest Microsoft products - with training provided as needed - to deliver effective solutions for business customers.
  • Develop your skills in leading technologies, including advanced analytics with Dataiku, cloud data warehousing using Snowflake, and data governance and sharing through Collibra.
  • Gain insight into the world-famous Toyota Production System by understanding car manufacturing processes and the IT systems supporting it. 
  • Your working location will be mainly in Derby (UK), but business travelling within Europe is possible

 

Your Profile

  • You have an IT background
  • You have interest in automotive sector and software development projects
  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You have strong planning capabilities and a structured way of working.
  • You are a proactive person and teamplayer, who enjoys working in an international environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, also familiar with: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Copilot
  • You are available as of September 7th 2026 for 11 months
