Your team and your responsibilities

Team/division description

 

Toyota Motor Europe R&D Centre is responsible for:

  • Developing vehicles and making concept proposal for EU core models
    Body Engineering is responsible for Planning & Design for European Vehicles from concept phase to serial production.
  • SQ team is responsible for improving Product Power and Sensory Quality.

 

Your project

  • SQ research & concept design for premium experience (visual and functional)
  • Market investigation with focus on customer needs
  • Analysing Customer data and formulate conclusion
  • Developing Objective Measuring methods to measure the Sensory Quality.
  • Set target & guidelines for design parameters

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • Degree in Engineering or Industrial Design
  • Good feeling & interest with vehicle perceived quality and materials 
  • Strong attention to detail with creative design practices
  • Adept at handling and analysing both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Good team-work skills & highly motivated and with challenge spirit.
  • Knowledge of industry tools: presentation & design

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
