Your team and your responsibilities

Team/division description

           

TME Corporate Communications acts as an antenna and communicator for the company external relations. It has a vision to enhance Toyota’s reputation in Europe through collaborative relationships with external stakeholders (for example - international and national media, NGOs, customers).  Our role is to develop and implement external communications activities focusing on TME’s core corporate pillars: Electrification, Carbon Neutrality, Sustainability, DE&I and the transformation to a mobility company.

 

The department’s key tasks:

  • Oversee corporate communication strategy and implementation.
  • Manage the development of PR materials (press releases, social content, press kits, pictures and video material)
  • Manage and develop corporate materials for owned (Newsroom & Corporate Website) and social media channels (Twitter & LinkedIn)
  • Manage executive interviews at top-tier EU motor shows & other events
  • Manage the organisation of press events
  • Monitor and assess media coverage in Europe
  • Help NMSCs (National Marketing Sales Companies) answer media enquiries (information, assets, interviews, visits, etc)

 

Your project

  • Develop communications materials (e.g., stories, press release, Q&As, social content) for specific projects with areas related to Sustainability , Mobility, Safety & Automated Driving
  • Support development of presentations for external events (e.g. media events)
  • Other tasks as required – e.g. develop corporate materials for owned (Newsroom & Corporate Website) and social media channels (Twitter & LinkedIn)

Your Profile

We are looking for an ambitious intern who is interested in a career in communications and mobility. Working with an experienced team, you will rapidly gain an insight into the company’s communication priorities across many divisional activities and the external demands from a wide range of stakeholders.  Within the scope of your internship, you will experience all these facets of our activities, while working on clearly defined responsibilities and projects.

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language) -  any other European language is a plus
  • Education: Bachelor or Masters International Business / Strategic Business Management / Sustainability / Communication / Journalism / Political Science
  • Interest in mobility industry, Toyota as a company
  • Accurate in numbers and follow up of projects
  • Mature personality able to liaise with all levels of the company
  • High level of creative writing skills with experience in making presentations
  • Computer skills: Excellent knowledge of MS office: creative software (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus

  •  Mid-August / September 2025

Duration

  •  6 months

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
