Your team and your responsibilities

Team/division description

           

As part of Vehicle Logistics, V-CARE (Vehicle Customisation And Retailer dElivery) is responsible of being the interface between National Marketing & Sales Companies (e.g. Toyota Belgium/France/Spain) and TME Vehicle Logistics Group. Our objective is to:

  • Ensure the delivery of vehicles to Toyota’s retailer network in line with the committed delivery dates (ETA)
  • Support the launch of new models by securing the readiness of accessory installations in our logistic Hubs and the timely delivery of launch vehicles.
  • Support pan-European accessory strategies & vehicle conversion projects.

 

Your project

 

Actively participate in a new system Development that aims to digitalize new accessory request process:

 

  • Support creation of technical requirements with the Product Owner
  • Follow-up the status of development within an international team
  • Ensure good quality through detailed system testing
  • Support digitalization efforts to improve efficiency and collaboration across the Vehicle Logistics Group

  • Create a unified repository for easy access and updates of all our operational work standards.
  • Streamline and standardize operational processes across our European logistic hubs.

 

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You have a strong interest in Supply Chain and you are curious to understand the details of it
  • You have a strong analytical mindset
  • You are an organized and collaborative person able to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • You have experience in Microsoft package: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint
  • Advanced knowledge in Sharepoint is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI is a plus

  •  6 months

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
