Your team and your responsibilities

As part of TME R&D organization, the Powertrain Division is responsible for local development of powertrains for vehicles built in one of the TME production plants and for planning and research of new European technologies. Latest focus points include electrification, big data and connectivity. Our team Powertrain Advanced / Planning / System is a Research team within Powertrain covering xEV battery, E-motor, E-Axle, Charging technology, etc.

 

As part of TME R&D organization, the Powertrain Division is responsible for local development of powertrains for vehicles built in one of the TME production plants and for planning and research of new European technologies. Latest focus points include electrification, big data and connectivity. Our team Powertrain Advanced / Planning / System is a Research team within Powertrain covering xEV battery, E-motor, E-Axle, Charging technology, etc.

 

Your Profile

  • Master or PhD student in the field of electromechanical or electrical Engineering or a data scientist with basic engineering skills.
  • Open-minded and keen to work proactively in a multi-cultural business environment.
  • Highly motivated with a passion for electrification
  • Fluent in English: reading, writing & speaking
  • Able to summarize and explain complex technical information in a simple & visual way.
  • Skills in Python, Machine-Learning or Matlab are considered strong assets

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
