Toyota Motor Europe offers an internship in the Powertrain division, focusing on developing control software for hydrogen Fuel Cell applications. You'll work with global teams, improving control models in MATLAB Simulink, conducting simulations, and contributing to testing and data analysis. Ideal for students in Data Science, Automotive, or Mechatronics.
TOYOTA is one of the world’s largest automobile manufacturers and a leading global corporation. Founded in 1937. Toyota now sells vehicles in 170 countries and employs over 350.000 people. Based in Brussels, Belgium, and staffed by 2.700 people and more than 60 nationalities, Toyota Motor Europe (TME) handles the wholesale marketing of Toyota and Lexus vehicles, parts & accessories, and manages Toyota’s European R&D, manufacturing, and engineering operations.
We are excited to be transforming into a mobility company focusing on bringing even more happiness to our customers through various mobility solutions.
Total Cost of Ownership optimisation is crucial in high-power applications with multiple Fuel Cell models. The modules’ operating efficiency and degradation rate can be optimised through combined control of several modules. You will be contributing to the development of such a multi-module control software used to control large generator-type hydrogen Fuel Cell applications. The software will be integrated in Toyota Fuel Cell products and sold to third party applications as an embedded software in the customer-Fuel Cell interface ECU.
