Your team and your responsibilities

Team/division description

           

Within TME, our IT&D (Information Technology & Digital) division manages & supports all IT matters (on Application, Network and Infrastructure level) for entire Toyota in Europe, for the manufacturing and sales organisations.

 

Our IT&D division consists of 155 + employees, spread over 5 locations, BE, TK, UK, FR and CZ; and is supported by dedicated contract resource teams provided by Infosys, Computacenter, IBM, …

 

Your assignment will be in the Operations and Service Delivery team, where you will be working in the Program Excellence activity.

 

Your project

 

  • You will participate to a two fold project,
  • Planning Process improvements
  • Agile Process and Tool implementation

 

 PLANNING PROCESS

  • Support the Program Excellence team in converting the ‘ways of working’ in IT&D platform teams to be agile and driven from backlog instead of very rigid non realistic plans.

 

AGILE PROCESS STANDARDISATION AND TOOL

  • Help define processes for planning and tracking
  • Help implement and secure new processes
  • Work on Tools to support processes (Jira/Servicenow/…)

 

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You are working to your master’s degree in IT.
  •  You have knowledge or interest in Process improvements and Automation.
  •  You embrace the Agile Mindset.
  •  We expect critical thinking mindset and people who are not afraid to speak up and can propose further process evolution steps.
  •  You have an inquisitive mindset – “how can I make things easier ?”
  •  You are willing to join a magical ride of transformation

  •  before January 2025

Duration

  •  6 months

Confidentiality

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
