Your team and your responsibilities

Toyota's ambition and vision involve transitioning into a mobility company that provides continuously improved mobility solutions for everyone.

 

In pursuit of this goal, two entities have been founded in Europe. Toyota Connected Europe, located in London, serves as the technological solutions provider. On the other hand, Toyota Connected Technologies, headquartered in Brussels, takes responsibility for devising, planning, and executing the European strategy for connected, multimedia, and mobility services.

 

Toyota Connected Technologies Division (TME-CT) has a clear focus on the Car of Tomorrow.
This internship will take place in the Connected Services Business ‘division.

 

Your project

  • Understand latest market and technological trends within Automotive Connected Services area and explore solutions.
  • Understand and articulate customer needs, conduct customer research, leverage internal knowledge and expertise, and prioritize requirements.
  • Defining product vision
  • Defining product requirements documents and business cases.
  • Product and feature experimentation
  • Research and identify new opportunities for us to innovate on behalf of our customers.

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • Ongoing studies in STEM, Computer Science/Information Technology/Human-Computer Interaction and Cognitive Systems
  • Interest and passion in the following key areas:
    • Software development and commercialisation
    • Connected Services and Apps
    • Mobility Solutions
  • Result driven and able to break down complex tasks into manageable portions.
  • Excellent in MS Office (Excel)

 

Starting date

  •  ASAP- before January 2025

Duration

  •  6 months

Confidentiality

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
