Your team and your responsibilities

Team/division description

           

The P&I (People and Innovation) & Sustainability team belongs to the Information Technology & Digital (IT&D) function.

The main mission of the team is to be a strategic sparring partner for our Business units by providing the best technology and solutions, achieving best-in-class support and co-designing future business solution's landscape. We work cross-functionally with multiple other functions such as P&I, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), Sustainability, R&D (Research & Dvelopment), Homologation etc. ,and our affiliates in Europe.

 

At Sustainability side of the team we are responsible from building systems to meet European Union (EU) regulations linked to ESG. In this context we are looking for an intern to help us with the ESG driven sustainability initiatives and their IT implementation.

 

Your project

 

Support the team with the IT implementation of EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) by:

  • Following up on the implementation progress of each development team and vendor
  • Learn and follow internal processes to ensure the alignment within different IT teams
  • Supporting Business stakeholders to clarify the requirements needed for the implementation;
  • Supporting Business stakeholders to find the common capabilities needed for different ESG projects;

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You have a Management Engineering or IT background
  • You have interest in automotive sector and software development projects
  • You have strong planning capabilities and a structured way of working.
  • You are a proactive person and team-player, who enjoys working in an international environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI is a plus.

  •  02/01/2025 at the latest

Duration

  •  6 months

Confidentiality

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
