Parts Supply Chain Group mission is to deliver the right product (service parts, accessories and information) at the right time, through lean integrated logistics, exceeding Customer & Stakeholder expectation,
with engaged members realising a sustainable future.

These parts arrive from different suppliers or plants all over the world to Diest (Belgium), where they are distributed directly to the final customer or to our Regional Depots/ National sales companies.

Our Network structure staffs 1500 Toyota members, we deliver to over 3500 garages and 44 regional warehouses within Europe, Russia and North Africa.

 

You will be part of Parts Supply Division,  Demand Planning team:

Our Mission: Exceeding customer’s expectations by on time planning of adequate demand forecast, through continuous forecast improvement activities & PDCA cycles, supporting on time availability in a leanest, most cost efficient & environment friendly way via a team of engaged professionals.

 

Your project

We want to optimize and Kaizen the early lifecycle parts and accessories forecasting process. By Evaluating the current existing internal and external methodologies, true cross-company alignment, coming up with a future proof new standard which is supporting the rapidly changing mobility market. Automated data collection, calculations and reporting (BI solutions) will be key.

You will learn to use Toyota methodologies for problem solving including key Toyota principles.

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You are a master’s student.
  • You have a with a good knowledge of Information Systems (MS Office, PowerBI, …)
  • You have a background in logistic process.

  •  ASAP / 2024

Duration

  •  6 months

Confidentiality

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
