Your team and your responsibilities

Team/division description

           

Our Team: Regional Depot Operations department (13 depots across Europe + 1 Depot transformation team in Belgium).

Our essence: Our teams are accountable to deliver the right product (=Parts or information) at the right time through lean integrated logistics, exceeding customer & stakeholder expectations with engaged members realising a sustainable future.

You will be a part of depot transformation team in Belgium, our mission is to secure optimum capacity & enhance safety, quality, efficiency in our operations at all our regional depots through implementation of best practices, standardization of process/tools.

 

Your project

 

We want to create a system to facilitate standardization of operational/storage process & equipment’s at all our regional depot’s.

Your main responsibility will be to:

  • Grasp the current situation of various processes/equipment’s used at each depot, understand the best practice. 
  • Identify/assess the gaps at each depot & develop a practical plan to secure depot standardization. 
  • Develop a structure for document management & best practice sharing among depot’s by using system tools (e.g.: MS Office Share point). 
  • Build consensus with depot management, take feedback & implement new standardization structure at all depots. 
  • Support the delivery of regional depot managers meet (European network event).

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree
  • Good organisational skills combined with a strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Office 365 ( Excel, Access, PPT, Share point)
  • Strong background in Logistics process
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

  •  ASAP/ September 2024

  •  6 months

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
