Your team and your responsibilities

Team/division description

           

The internal audit department is composed of 19 employees working on business and IT related audits.

The IT internal audit, from which the data analytics depends, is composed of 6 team members.

The current data analytics internship is based in Belgium.

 

Your project

The internal audit department has implemented data analytics and process automation within its activities and is now looking to broaden the work efficiency.

Your main responsibility will be to assist the senior data analyst in:

  1. Assist in the design, development, and testing of solutions using industry-leading automated tools and technologies, like UiPath.
  2. Work closely with data analysts to gather and prepare data for use in automation scripts.
  3. Analyse existing workflows and processes to determine feasibility and potential benefits of automation.
  4. Document requirements, design specifications, and test plans for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) projects.
  5. Provide support during the implementation and deployment of RPA solutions, including user training and troubleshooting.
  6. Monitor the performance of RPA processes and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
  7. Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in RPA and automation technologies.

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for leveraging technology to drive business improvements.
  • Basic understanding of programming concepts and experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL, R, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Prior experience with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) is a plus but not required.

Duration

  •  6 months

Confidentiality

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
