- Student in final year study of Master degree of engineering, with focus on simulation and optimisation methodologies.
- Proficient with Matlab and Simulink.
- Knowledge of vehicle and system dynamics simulation packages (Carmaker/Amesim/Simpack) and Python will be considered as assets.

Vehicle Performance Engineering – Model Based Development
The VPE-MBD team has the role of developing and deploying digital methods for vehicle development to the R&D organization; this includes simulation and virtual evaluation technologies for vehicle dynamics performance teams (handling, ride comfort, drivability, etc.), as well as research on more advanced performance indicators for objective target setting for the vehicle and its subsystems.
SYMBIOTIC-ADAPTIVE DRIVING RESEARCH AND APPLICATION
The mission of the work will be to improve the understanding of the driver-vehicle interaction for continuous or intermittent steering and throttle control. A human-centric approach including driver modelling is necessary to develop and validate.
Specific activity content:
 Design of an ADAS system for symbiotic driving combining the existing steering assist with a longitudinal control (ACC/Brake)
 Adapt driver model to combine longitudinal & lateral control
 Calibration of the proposed controller to improve path following accuracy and driver comfort, by improving the matching of real drivers on driving simulator experiment with driver model estimation.
