     Student in final year study of Master degree of engineering (with focus on human factor).
     Good knowledge in Python/Matlab, real-time systems.

    Your team and your responsibilities

    Our team:
    Vehicle Performance Engineering – Driving Dynamics
    Team of 16 engineers, we are responsible for Advance Driving Assistance System (ADAS), Vehicle Dynamics, suspension, steering and brake for vehicles designed and built in Europe. Our work is shared between vehicle project development, performance improvement, benchmarking and production support (9 manufacturing plants in EU).


    Your project:
    With the expansion and the acceleration of the development of complex ADAS functions it is becoming essential to assess the performance of each system in the early phase of development. In order to establish such methodology we are developing our newly built driving simulator (DS) and we are investigating Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) reach the optimum driver’s immersion for the evaluation of Autonomous function. Your mission will first be to investigate and test the different immersive technologies (DS, VR & AR) and the physiological measures, then as a second step develop the Design of Experiment to assess the level of immersion through the study of the physiological measures; then finally conduct and analyse panel test for the proposed immersive technologies.
    This internship is suitable for 1 student.
