    Your Profile

    You are in your last year of Master studies in business or marketing.
    You have a strong personal interest in the automotive business
    Proactive and willing to be a team player in a multicultural environment
    Fluent in English, additional languages are an asset
    Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to visualize your findings
    Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
    Creative, rigorous, challenging and persevering

    Your team and your responsibilities

    Team/division description
    The Product & Marketing Management Division develops the product planning and marketing launch strategy of Toyota models with the target to deliver the best product for European markets while ensuring achievement of our business objectives.
    Within this Division you will join the Team in charge of launch & lifecycle management of Toyota products for the European market.

     

    Your project :
    Reporting to a Manager/Sr. Specialist, you will support the team to achieve the most successful product marketing management of the vehicles within your responsibility. You will perform competitor analysis (i.e.: sales performance, sales strategy, mixes, pricing, positioning, communication) and, collaborating with all relevant departments and divisions within Toyota Motor Europe and with National Marketing and Sales Companies, will contribute to secure successful launches of new models and lifecycle actions of existing ones.

     

    Responsibilities:

    Analysis
    You execute various levels of marketing research, including market segments and competitor actions.
    You make proposals to maintain and/or improve Toyota models competitive advantage
    You develop specifications and standards for in-house data compilation and reporting
    You interact with the relevant teams in order to ensure timely delivery of project results

     

    Launches and lifecycle management
    Support coordination of launch activities through cross-functional launch team approach
    Support National Marketing & Sales Companies (NMSC ) across  30 countries, in their launch preparation, through standardised launch planning process
    Identify and share NMSC best practices
    Make recommendations for  product lifecycle for each Toyota model to support achievement of annual plan

     

    Place of Employment: European Head Office in Brussels (Belgium)

    Starting date: as of April 2020, June 2020 or September 2020
    Duration: 6 months
    Confidentiality: Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.
    It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

     

    We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
