• Master student in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering, looking for a long-term internship to gather practical business experience.
• We are looking for someone with strong IT skills and or Industrial Engineering / Logistics skills.
• Your area of study should include a significant computing content.
• However at least as important are your interpersonal skills.
• We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about Supply Chain Management and using technology to improve business operations with good abstract reasoning skills.
• Willing to travel within Europe (mainly UK, France, Belgium)

The Logistics Systems Team is part of the Supply Chain Management Division, within TME Information Systems. The mission of the team is to build applications that support our Vehicle & Parts Logistics Operations in Europe. The team work closely with the Logistics group within Production Control in TME to implement Toyota Production System (TPS) principles into our systems to achieve Lean Logistics operations in Europe.
We require an Intern to join our ‘Vehicle Logistics Planning’. The purpose of the project is to redevelop our systems for Planning Vehicle Logistics to improve the accuracy of vehicle delivery dates & provide visibility of this throughout our Demand & Supply Chain. You will be involved in the technical definition of the solution and also the practical implementation of the selected solution. This will involve working with TME IS & Logistics Specialists as well as our Logistics Partners. Some travel to Vehicle Logistics Centres in UK, France & Belgium is foreseen.
Duration: Ideally 9 months
Start date: ideally June/July

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.
